A Pretty People

And now, for another aside.

I have discovered that many Germans are pretty.

This doesn't necessarily apply to the "Wow, I want to stay here because everyone is physically gorgeous, yet perpetually grumpy" sentiment, but Germans, for the most part, look a lot more alive than their American counterparts. There aren't as many obese people (though they do exist), and I've seen so many blond-haired, blue-eyed people that I could probably make a politically incorrect remark and sort of get away with it.

Take the young Referendare who visited my school today. Very pretty young adults, who also seem to have runway attitudes. Seriously. The only one I talked to, a (very pretty) young man (boy? I have no idea how old he is, but he looks like he's still in his teens), appeared quite nice, though. They are doing less than I am, since I do run around and help the kids with their English, along with participating in the activities (depending on the teacher). So, I may not be as pretty, but I'm more useful (right now)! Take that, pretty Germans! Muahahaha!

Still, it makes me a little content that I am living in the land of pretty people.
